Looking along Seven Mile Beach towards the rising sun.
Not the normal start to this walk.
Although the views are great. Apparently the Council have recently established a new track that climbs Signal Hill which will allow a circuit walk rather than the normal out and back coastal track.
Which zig zags up the hill.
A panorama towards the end of Seven Mile Beach and Frederick Henry Bay.
Where to next?
Enjoying the view from the top of the hill, a great morning tea stop.
Looking towards Lauderdale and Mays Beach.
Now following the Tandgara Trails working our way back to Roches Beach.
Lunch spot at Roches Beach.
Heading along Roches Beach towards Seven Mile Beach.
A colony of Pied Comorants.
Climbing up from Roches Beach onto the track.
A beautifully constructed stone bridge on the track.
The more adventurous of the group took the low road.
A shell beach among the rocky shore.
Nearly there.
The final walk up the beach to the cars.
The 18 walkers cover nearly 11kms in 4.25 hours climbing and descending 210 meters on the day.
A different walk around an area that always provides good walking and great coastal views.
Thanks to Chris for leading the walk and his photos.
