Due to a weather forecast for a significant rainfall event we decided to walk around the laneways and back streets of Kingston and Blackmans Bay so if the rain became too heavy we could head back to the cars.

The last hill before the cars was a bit of a stretch and we should had followed our leaders advice and gone his way.
The weather held off and the 16 walkers covered 8.2kms in just under 3 hours and climbed and descended 160 meters.
The walk was very worthwhile because of the profusion of spring flowers appearing within the green spaces in the suburbs.
