Today we started out from the car park at Cascade Brewery on a walk led by Ron.
We started out and, as I knew it would involve some steep climbs, I opted to drop out and do a walk on my own at my pace which has gotten slower with the years! I followed some tracks leading through the bush and some that turned out to be animal tracks, but had a good time.
Peter has kindly supplied photos and a summary of the walk below. As it turned out, I only walked about a kilometre less then the others.
Jack
Here are the track notes.
There were 12 walkers and we traveled 9.5
km over 3.5 hours.

A good walk enjoyed by all (except for Jack).
I especially enjoyed it as I had missed our
previous walk over the same area.

A book and a flip chart and I still can't identify it - Jack A busy ant
The ant in the blue oval dragged that piece of wood all over
the ant hill. I suppose he was looking for the freight
entrance. His mate was no help.
