Our walk today is around the reserves at the back of Mount Nelson.
The weather forecast is for a fine sunny day.

After morning tea heading back up the next hill.

Bulbine bulbosa - Bulbine Lily (with spider hanging off the top).
Diplarrena moraea - White Flag Iris.
A dam near the top of the climb to Mount Nelson.
Compete with ducks.
Thelymitra rubra - Pink Sun Orchid.
After crossing Nelson Road we follow the track behind the houses backing onto the Mt Nelson Reserve.
There were 17 walkers who covered 9.6 kms climbing and descending 350 meters over 4.5 hours.
An enjoyable walk on a beautiful spring day.
