The group travelled to the Tasmanian Bushland Garden just off the Tasman Highway before Buckland for a short walk. It was surprising to find that approximately half of our group of 22 knew about the garden but had not visited it before.
The volunteers for the Garden have established a beautiful spot to spend a quiet few hours in a garden where a large percentage of the plants have identifying tags that allows you identify all the different varieties.
There are also a number of sculptures to enjoy while undertaking the circuit of the property.
From the comments by the group after having lunch at the well maintained facilities we will be having visits there i the future to enjoy the walk and the garden itself.
