Old Hobartians Circuit 2019

Today I was going to lead the group on a circuit that Tas first took us on back in 2016. It has the odd steep part.

Unfortunately, when I woke up I was not in a fit state to lead a walk - that's my story - I rang Bob who immediately stepped up to the mark, no problem.

Others came to the rescue also. Peter and Wayne sent photos they took of the walk and Ron a GPS track and details of the walk.

Meanwhile, have a look at the photos below.

We park at the end of Lenah Valley Road, heading up the Main Fire Trail to pickup the start of the Old Hobartians Track

I quote an email from Ron below:

"There were 12 walkers who covered about 10.5 kms in 4.75 hours.  Our recent good weather continued. The walkers were pleased that there was only one 'little' hill climb which went for 4 kms during which time we ascended 630 metres!!

Regards
Ron"

Many thanks to Bob, Wayne, Peter & Ron for taking care of business while I was indisposed.
