Today's walk lead by Bob was a new walk to the group and the day was forecast to be warm although a little cool.
It's the first time we been lead on our walk by and excavator.
It was a bit wet underfoot from the rain over the previous couple of weeks.
The first climb starts.

Our next view was across to the Derwent River with the Bridgewater Gerry coming down the valley from New Norfolk.

A workman had obviously lost his pick while doing track maintenance.

After lunch the walk starts to descend.
An example of some of the bike track construction as the Meehan Range is also a Mountain Bike venue.
Nearing the end of today's walk with everyone smiling, it could be because everyone had a good walk or because they were glad that the walk was finally over.
There were 15 walkers who enjoyed a good walk over 11 kms in just on 4 hours.
