Twelve people went on today's walk, which was done in consistent light rain. Fortunately there was no wind and the temperature was mild.
The walk started from the Boathouse along the foreshore and then the dog walking track to Self's Point. Next we wandered through Cornelian Bay Cemetary.

Then back along various roads to the playing fields where we took shelter under pine trees while we had morning tea.
We then followed Oldham Ave and Park Street until the old Hobart High School where we used the pedestrian bridge over the Brooker Highway to cross to the Queen's Domain. We walked to the top and then followed a zig zag bike path and Soldiers Walk till we reached the Community Hub where we were able to have lunch at a table under shelter.
After lunch we headed down the Grassland Gully Track to the Botanical Gardens visiting the Conservatory and Japanese Gardens. The return journey was completed via the Cornelian Bay Foreshore Track and the Boatshed Track.
Today's walk was about 11kms and took about 4hrs.
