After a slow drive along the Southern Outlet we arrived at the lower mountain slopes to begin today's walk in fine warm weather.
On the way to O'Gradys Falls we passed this tree with an unusual twist.
As Hobart has been having reasonably dry weather lately we were surprised by the amount of water running over the falls.

Tas Water have been repairing the wall and have had to drain the water. On our previous walks in this area it has never been this low.
Powering up the last hill for the day. 15 walkers went on today's walk which took about 5 hours to complete and was Joy's first walk as leader - thanks Joy.
