Chauncy Vale was the home of Nan Chauncy, author of award winning children's adventure novels.
In 1946 it became the Chauncy Vale Wildlife Sanctuary and is located outside of Bagdad, Tasmania.
As I'm not walking at the moment, you can thank Peter for the following photos and description of the walk.
Peter's report is as follows.
9 participants
Approximately 12 kms (phone went flat so only an estimate based on map) and it took 4.5 hours,
It was a beautiful day for a walk with it not being too hot climbing the hill.
We left the car park and basically walked up hill til we got to the junction for the Eastern and Western lookout and went to the Western lookout this time rather that the Eastern Lookout as we did in 2018.
We returned the same way until the bottom of the hill when we deviated along the Caves Walk track and then back to the cars.
